Hidden iPod Commands

Command-Tab has a useful interactive image to determine Hidden iPod Commands.
I grew tired of Googling each time I needed the correct button sequence to put iPods into their various modes, so I’ve put together this little interactive display. Click on one of the three darkened buttons above to display the key presses necessary to put the iPod in the selected mode. To use, Reset the iPod using the first combination, then use the Diagnostic Mode or Disk Mode combination as soon as the Apple logo appears.
Check out Hidden iPod Commands.

Great to find these tips. However I think I ruined my brand new nano by forgetting and docking it in doc I used on my pc for an older ipod even thought it was plugged into my iMac via the usb.
It still worked when I realized I should have used my new docking usb
cord. I switched it and left it connected hoping it would recharge because it hadn’t recharged after a couple of hours. Today it will not go on. I tried all the combinations from your Hidden iPod Commands. I think my iPod Nano is fried.
